This Privacy Policy explains how Tourism Whitehorse, operated by The Travel Spark Company LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use this website. It covers browsing this guide, contacting us, subscribing to our newsletter, and following links to travel providers.

Information you choose to provide

When you submit the contact form, we process the name, email address, subject, and message you provide so that we can receive and respond to the request. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we process the email address you provide to administer that subscription. Newsletter subscription is optional. Contacting support does not subscribe you to marketing emails. You may unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter.

Information processed automatically

Our hosting provider may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referral information, and security events to deliver, maintain, and protect the site. We use technical data to operate this guide, protect forms, and understand the use of travel links. Booking features can process page views, selected activities, currency preferences, and referral information.

Forms and abuse prevention

Forms use security tokens, server-side validation, a hidden honeypot, and short-lived rate controls. A one-way hash derived from technical request information may be stored temporarily to limit repeated submissions; the raw address is not placed in that rate key. Provider features may use cookies or similar storage to maintain preferences, limit repeated prompts, or attribute referrals. You can manage storage and cookies through your browser settings.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses necessary security and session functions. Travel features may store preferences and referral information in cookies or local storage. External booking providers set their own cookies when you visit their services. You can delete or block cookies through your browser; doing so may affect some features.
